From Research to Reality: RespirAI at the UNO Startup Tech Showcase
RespirAI Medical was thrilled to return to our roots at the University of Nebraska at Omaha last week for the Student Research and Creative Activity Fair!
As part of the Startup Tech Showcase, RespirAI Medical was proud to be featured as a venture born from pioneering research at UNO. Our journey began in the UNO Department of Biomechanics, where the core discovery—linking breathing and movement patterns to predict health changes—first took flight.
Today, we are transforming that academic discovery into a life-saving wearable platform for patients with COPD and chronic respiratory diseases. Seeing the incredible innovation happening across the UNO and University of Nebraska Medical Center campuses reminds us of why we do what we do: translating world-class research into products that improve lives.
A huge thank you to the UNO Office of Research and Creative Activity (ORCA), UNeTech Institute, and UNeMed Corporation for their continued support in bridging the gap between the lab and the marketplace.
It was inspiring to share the stage with the next generation of student researchers and fellow startups.
